I am a writer who has been writing since I was 13.
My first novel, A Little Life, was published in 2010.
I have worked as a freelance writer since 2014 and have also written two books on my blog, A Small Favour, and My Book of the Month is a Whale, about a woman who was rescued by a pod of whales and named after the whale she was rescued from.
My second novel, The Whale Hunter, was released in February this year and I have just finished editing it, which was a very exciting experience.
I write about a man who lives on the fringes of civilisation, in the woods and on the beach.
The man is fascinated by the animals, but also by his own humanity.
This is why I wrote the story about him, he tells me.
This story is about his struggle to understand his own mortality, his own place in the universe, the inevitability of death.
The book is called The Whale.
As you read this, I hope you will also take some time to reflect on the idea of death and the meaning of life, and the journey to it, by going into the woods, in particular.
What you will find is that it’s not a boring journey, and it’s a very interesting one.
It will be very challenging to get lost in it.
It’s going to be hard to make it through this.
But you’ll get there.
You’ll have the feeling that you’re walking into the unknown, even if it’s the world that you see around you.
