Progressive rental cars and rental cars can be found all over Brooklyn and Queens.
They’re also ubiquitous in New Jersey and beyond.
And the New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) has partnered with the rental car industry to offer free, 24-hour access to these rental cars in New Yorkers’ backyards.
In 2016, the New Jersey Department of Taxation and Finance (DTF) partnered with several rental car companies, including Progressive and CarRenters, to launch an app that allows customers to check out a car rental for free.
The app is free to use and is available for iOS and Android.
The DTF has partnered up with two rental car providers, Progressive and the New Brunswick, New Jersey-based CarRental Brooklyn.
Both companies said they will offer free 24-Hour access to all of their rental cars on Tuesday, March 9.
The company said that customers can download the app from the iOS and Google Play Store for free from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Tuesday through Friday.
The company also announced that they will be offering complimentary 24-h online rental car reservations on Tuesday and Wednesday, March 10.
Progressive is partnering with CarRents Brookland, a New Jersey company, to offer 24-H online rental cars.
